Let’s start off this week (and month) with news we can all rally behind: Indonesia’s very own Janice Tjen has won her first WTA singles title, making her the first Indonesian woman to do so in over two decades.

Janice has been smashing it on the court this year, and the 23-year-old can already count herself among the best the nation has produced. Let’s hope she continues on this trajectory and that she soon finds herself rubbing shoulders with the likes of Sabalenka and Swiatek.

In other news, the lawmakers the public loved to hate during August’s mass protests are commencing their ethics hearing, the military gets a massive jet, and BLACKPINK was in the area.
