Hundreds hospitalized following sound horeg exposure

Hello reader,

The issue of sound horeg is once again taking center stage, after hundreds were hospitalized in East Java following exposure to extreme noise levels. Far from banning the practice, the province has issued regulations governing sound horeg. One wonders if they’ll fall on deaf ears.

Elsewhere, former Religious Affairs Minister Yaqut Cholil Qoumas has been given a travel ban amid a corruption investigation, VP Gibran pointed out he has no beef with a fellow presidential nepo baby, and online lenders say they haven’t formed a cartel. Just another day in Indonesia.
