Azealia Banks clarifies she did not diss Indonesia

Hello reader,

American rapper Azealia Banks is trending in Indonesia for tweeting, “Indonesia is the world’s trash can.”

Taken out of context, such a statement may understandably rile up Indonesians. But Banks’ whole statement was a lot more nuanced — and it looks to be more of a critique on global waste management than it is a diss on our country and people.
