The calm after the storm | September 2, 2025

Hello reader,

Tension throughout the nation has largely eased following the unrest that began last week.

Though it appears peace is here to stay, especially as major groups call off follow-up protests, there were still the odd violent incident that warrants concern. Bandung, for one, was the scene of a standoff between university students and security forces last night, the latter of whom allegedly used excessive force.
