Hello reader,

As practically everybody in the country is concerned about next year’s VAT hike, we’ve been hit with another surprise: A new round of tax amnesty is being planned for 2025.

While it might prove beneficial to the common citizen, tax amnesties generally benefit those who can afford to have hidden assets. The exasperated among us might be feeling that recent financial policies stand to benefit the wealthy more than anyone else. Let’s hope that changes.
