Taiwan reports carcinogenic compound in Indonesian noodles

Hello reader,

A beloved Indonesian instant noodle brand is in hot water (pun fully intended) after Taiwan’s food monitoring agency found traces of a pesticide in one of its products. The pesticide in question is understood to be carcinogenic.

On the plus side, the allegedly affected flavor is not my favorite, nor is it most people’s. That one is safe, for now, or as safe as instant noodles can be.

Have a wonderful weekend everybody!

Cheers,

Andra
