Gov't to give every kitchen IDR 500 million per day

Hello reader,

The government is imposing a new funding model for the free nutritious meals (MBG) program, amid rising concerns about its financial inefficiency, and I'm not sure this will serve to improve oversight.

Granted, the current model of distributing funds through local administrations is certainly not without its glaring flaws. Soon, every kitchen will directly receive IDR 500 million per day to serve MBG recipients. Let's see how that goes.
