Parliamentary proposal might take smaller parties out of the game

Hello reader,

The next general elections are some three years away, and already we’re seeing maneuvers in the political game of musical chairs.

One party, in particular, would like the number of contestants decreased for the next legislative race as part of a court-mandated revision to the parliamentary threshold. Raise this significantly, and you’re effectively taking smaller parties out of the game.
