Hello reader,

Finally. I no longer have to write “elect” to refer to President Prabowo Subianto.

But that’s probably not why most people are excited about Indonesia’s eighth president. After three presidential campaigns, the former military general is finally leading the country at the tender age of 73. Here’s to good health and good governance, Pak Presiden.

No sooner than his inauguration, President Prabowo announced and appointed 48 ministers for his cabinet. It’s an extensive list, for sure, so I’m highlighting some of the key appointments in today’s edition.
