New regulations on online child protection in effect

Hello reader,

The government has officially begun enforcing its Australia-inspired stronger restrictions on social media for children. TikTok has reportedly already deactivated hundreds of thousands of accounts belonging to minors, with other major platforms expected to follow suit.

If this means that your kids are going outdoors again, beware of “Godzilla” in Jakarta. You’ll get it if you read on.
