KPU confirms single-round victory for Pramono Anung

Hello reader,

They called it — Pramono Anung and Rano Karno are the next governor and vice governor of Jakarta, respectively.

Despite Ridwan Kamil’s camp’s best efforts to force a run-off election, the General Elections Commission (KPU) today confirmed that Pramono passed the 50% threshold to win the election outright.

Will Ridwan finally accept defeat, or seek excuses? Recent developments suggest they’re opting for the latter.
