Hello reader,

Garuda Indonesia is a source of pride for many Indonesians (myself included), so it has been quite sad to see the flag carrier struggling financially over the past few years.

The government seems to be looking for a quick fix in appointing a new CEO, who is intent on taking Garuda out of its turbulent period. More on that later.

Speaking of Garuda, Indonesia’s men’s football team is hosting Japan at 7pm today. Do show your support, and have a fantastic weekend!
