Prosecutors allege former minister enjoyed huge kickback

Hello reader,

Recently, we saw two former officials pardoned from major corruption convictions. Their saving grace was that the courts heard no irrefutable proof that they personally gained from enacting policies that caused state losses.

Former education minister Nadiem Makarim has been arguing the same throughout his ongoing corruption trial. More on that, and more, in today’s Nusantara Notes.

Cheers,

Andra
