Prabowo plays up MBG at WEC

Hello reader,

Between the government’s Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program and McDonald’s, I’m not one to say which one edges it on culinary merit. In terms of quantity, though, President Prabowo, speaking at the World Economic Forum, claimed that the former will soon surpass the latter.

That said, not all MBG recipients have been lovin’ it where taste and hygiene are concerned. If MBG can be the social and economic force that Prabowo often plays it up to be while food standards are kept at a reasonable level, then everyone will have their happy meal.
