Hello readers,

We’ve got many important developments in the world of politics and economy, but today I’d like to highlight one story about animal conservation.

The government’s nationwide elephant riding ban is now in effect, putting an end to a dangerous and unethical practice. With all the environmental damage we’ve seen lately, this is one welcome change. Trunks to the policymakers, I suppose.
