For the record: I am not a fan of either OneRepublic or Timbaland. Today’s subject line just happens to fit this edition’s featured story. I promise.

Whether or not you’re a fan of President Joko Widodo, nobody can say that his two terms in office were without fault. For that reason, the president made a personal apology to the nation for all of his shortcomings as he prepares to step down in October.
