Hello reader,

Indonesia refusing to host Israeli athletes is nothing new. I’m getting flashbacks to us losing hosting rights to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2023 over Israel’s participation (that was even before the October 7 tragedy), and now Indonesia is holding firm yet again for the upcoming World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Jakarta.

One might say Indonesia won’t do a backflip on this decision. Read on for more.
