Indonesia barred from hosting Olympics

Hello reader,

If Russia can be excluded, why not Israel? That, in a nutshell, is Indonesia’s stance towards Israelis participating in international sports.

While the government has won praise in a largely pro-Palestine nation, Indonesia’s decision to bar Israeli athletes in an upcoming gymnastics event in Jakarta has led to the IOC barring Indonesia from hosting further affiliated events. And now people are pointing out the double standards.
