Landslide in mine cause major repercussions

A few weeks ago, a landslide in Freeport’s Grasberg mine trapped seven workers — two of whom were killed — underground, with rescue efforts still ongoing to this day. Beyond the immediate tragedy, the incident may have great repercussions on global copper prices, as the firm suspends operations on the site.
