Hello reader,

It’s been too long. After a much-needed vacation, I’m now ready to go back to my much-needed routine: writing Nusantara Notes daily.

A few major things went down in Indonesia in the weeks that I was away. But instead of a recap, I am choosing to pick things up where we left off: by sticking to covering the day’s top stories. Anything too big or ridiculous to ignore (looking at you, Fadli Zon) will undoubtedly be covered as and when major developments are reported.
