Hello reader,

Feeding tens of millions of schoolchildren everyday is a mammoth task that would overwhelm even the most organized of geniuses. Sadly for us, the people running the show now appear to be neither.

Some don’t even appear to be honorable. Five months in, the school meals program is under intense scrutiny over hygiene, payments, and corruption issues. More on that just below.
