Hello reader,

We probably won’t be around to witness Indonesia winning the FIFA World Cup, so I guess winning the FIFAe World Cup through the football managing simulator Football Manager will do for now.

This victory hits close to home because I, an otherwise casual gamer, have dedicated countless hours towards managing and coaching my tiny virtual footballers on the laptop screen. If you’d like to pick it up, be warned — the game is highly addictive.

There’s a lot to get through today. Let’s kick things off.
