Hello reader,

Governments around the world, including those in Asia, are racking their brains to solve looming energy crises resulting from the Middle East conflict. Here in Indonesia, officials have consistently given their reassurances that we’ll avoid the worst of it.

Nevertheless, they also seem to be preparing policies and advisories aimed at preventing excessive use of precious, precious fuel. These range from going all-in on EVs (this one coming from the very top), to a top tip about what to do with your stove once you’re done cooking (this one will unlikely surprise you!).

We’re going to talk so much about energy in the coming weeks, aren’t we? In the meantime, have a fantastic weekend!
