Indonesia to stop Singaporean oil imports

Hello reader,

Indonesia is set to stop importing crude oil from non-oil-producing Singapore, as if the government just woke up to the absurdity of the situation. In fact, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia went as far as calling the arrangement “embarrassing.”

In other news, Nusantara Notes is going on a break during the Vesak long weekend. Normal service will resume on Wednesday, May 14.

Have a great one!

Cheers,
