Gov't slashes free meal budget

Hello reader,

I can’t believe it’s already December. That means, other than this year drawing to a close, all eyes will be on President Prabowo’s first full year in office.

His cornerstone free nutritious meals program is set to be launched next year. The concept itself is ambitious, and now they are going to carry it out after slashing the program’s budget from IDR 15,000 per meal to IDR 10,000.

Is the program still feasible? Let’s see if the administration is cooking up something wonderful or just false hope.
