Hello reader,

They’re genuine tears, right? I sure hope so, as it would be refreshing to have politicians who actually give a damn.

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi is in the limelight for shedding tears over environmental damage. The cynic in me suspects there’s something too convenient in the documentation of the event, but you can be the judge by watching the video below.

Genuine or not, let’s hope the newly-elected governor does a good job leading the country’s most populous province.
