Consumers group says insurance must remain optional

Dear reader,

You may be reading this from the comfort of your car (though I certainly hope as a passenger). If your vehicle is not yet covered by insurance, you may have to get one by next year thanks to a new regulation.

There’s certainly more peace of mind if everyone on the road is covered, but the upcoming policy is receiving a lot of public backlash. More on that topic in the Business section below.
