Hello reader,

May 20 may prove to be an important day for rideshare drivers and couriers’ ongoing struggle against what they believe to be exploitation — it’s a day in which they are calling for a nationwide app shutdown as a form of protest.

For a nation so dependent on ojol, the implications could be huge if the drivers follow through with the threat. More on that below.
