Trump full of praise for Indonesia in phone call

Hello reader,

Prabowo Subianto and Donald Trump seem to have quite a few things in common. They both won the presidential elections of their respective countries this year following previous heartbreak, and they both appear to have tremendous amounts of respect for each other.

That was quite evident in the phone call between the pair, which, thanks to some people’s tendency to speak over the loudspeaker, we were able to listen in to. Give it a watch/listen just below.

At any rate, early signs point towards a healthy Indonesia-US relationship going forward. Just don’t tell Trump that Prabowo visited China before the US.
