7.6-magnitude quake rocks North Sulawesi | April 2, 2026

Hello reader,

At least one person was reportedly killed when a major earthquake struck off the coast of North Sulawesi this morning. Though the quake triggered a relatively small tsunami, the warning has since been lifted. Stay safe if you’re in or around the region, particularly as dozens of aftershocks have been reported.
