Rupiah falls to *another* historic low

Hello readers,

External forces this, global uncertainty that, and the rupiah remains in what could be described as a free fall. Indonesia’s currency surpassed IDR 17,500 against the US dollar for the first time in history today, triggering more action from policy makers.

For those of you who live in Indonesia and get paid in dollars, I’m sure I’m not alone in envying you. But if this keeps going the way it is, the impact on the nation’s economy might just affect everyone.
